This page is to alert concerned citizens to proposed legislation that threatens our freedom to make alternative health care choices, choose organic foods and our access to supplements. This page provides information and links to sites that can be helpful in our battle to preserve or health freedom.

Time and again, certain Senators and Congresspersons have proposed legislation that would seriously limit our access to supplements or make them only obtainable through a prescription. Other health freedoms that are also under attack are natural and alternative health care practices such as chiropractic, massage therapy, acupuncture, hypnotherapy, midwifery, herbalism and aromatherapy, to name only a few.

"Agribusiness" is trying to destroy our right to have truthful labeling, (currently MSG, monosodium glutenate, is allowed to be hidden under 50 names!), and to know the origin of our food. They also have an annual campaign to attempt to persuade the FDA and the USDA to "redefine" organically certified foods and "allow" genetically engineered foods and foods sprayed with pesticides and hormones to be labeled "organic."
